Consultant in Obstetrics& Gynecology
Dr. Mahady graduated from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland in 1966 and the University of Copenhagen in 1969. He trained as a general surgeon and gynecologist in NykØbing Falster, Denmark before returning to the UK to complete specialist training in Ob/Gyn in Scotland and England. He was a Consultant in Ob/Gyn in Burnley, Lancashire for 26 years where he also held post as clinical Director and RCOG Tutor in Ob/Gyn. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, London. Dr. Mahady's special interests are in Urinary Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Surgery, Diabetes in Pregnancy and Recurrent Miscarriages. He speaks Danish, French and German. |

Natalia, Diplomada Universitaria en Enfermería (D.U.E) por la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid) en España en el ano 2002 y recién graduada en Master de Salud Pública Internacional por la Escuela Nacional de Salud Pública del Instituto Carlos III. Tiene experiencia trabajando en diferentes especialidades médicas tales como cuidados intensivos, traumatología, medicina interna y Atención primaria. Tiene experiencia trabajando en diferentes países europeos tales como España (Hospital Gregorio Marañon - Madrid, Hospital 12 de Octubre – Madrid) e Italia (Ospedale San Raffaelle Milano). Habla Español, Italiano e Inglés y estará disponible para ayudar a proporcionar las mejores cuidados a paciente. |

２０００年に藤沢市立看護専門学校を卒業し、正看護師免許を取得する。卒業後、藤沢市民病院の外科病棟である、眼科、泌尿器科、そして内科病棟の腎臓科、呼吸器科で臨床経験を積む。その後カナダで英語の勉強をした後、帰国し、クリニック、老人施設や訪問入浴など様々な場所での看護経験をもつ。上海東方国際医院では、医療サポーターとして日本語と英語で患者様のアシスタントをしている。 |

School Field Trips to SEIMC
Visiting a hospital as a school field trip is a fun way to overcoming a child's fears.
During October and November, classes from Yew Chung International School Pudong campus visited SEIMC. They were introduced to different services and equipment in the hospital. For all the youngsters who came, this was a big adventure and lots of fun too! |

Avoid smoking
|
|
Avoid alcohol - 1 unit a day is acceptable but total abstinence is better
|

Exercise - Swimming is good. Walking is also good
|
|
Diet - Green vegetables and fresh fruit for vitamins C and E, meat or fish for iron
|
|
Medication - check with your GP or Ob/Gyn if safe to take in pregnancy
|
|
Regular ante-natal clinic check-ups
|
|
Avoid heavy lifting
|
|
Sex - as normal unless GP or Ob/Gyn has advised against it
|
|
Family - don't forget other members of the family
|
|
