The Holiday Season
Tips to avoid over-indulgence!
We are all guilty of over-eating during the festive holiday period! In Shanghai, we have even greater risks as there is such variety, with the fusion of cuisines from all around the world. Tasting new foods and dining on sweet cakes, ginger biscuits and chocolates can cause stress to your body!
Here are 5 key words for you to avoid this trap!

Quantity
To eat well doesn¡¯t mean eating too much. Take your time when you eat, it takes the brain about 15 minutes to recognize when your tummy is full!

Variety
It is healthy to eat a wide range of different foods, but in moderation!

Equilibrium
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! To allow time to burn off excess calories, eat your main meal during the day and avoid a heavy evening meal.

Satisfaction
If drinking alcoholic beverages, do so in moderation. Many alcoholic beverages are high in calories. Water - the physiological drink- flushes toxins from our body and should be consumed regularly.

Hygiene
Between meals, be sure to snack on fresh fruits and vegetables, and drink plenty tea or water. Limit refined carbohydrates (including candies and chocolates) to avoid extra pounds!
