Our Out-Patient Clinic is located on the ground floor with a dedicated entrance facing Pudong Avenue accessible by car, taxi, ambulance, or on foot. The Clinic is designed to handle a majority of medical conditions and has a variety of dedicated rooms, imaging services, diagnostic equipment, laboratory, pharmacy and more.
In addition to standard consultation rooms, the Clinic has several special-purpose rooms for maternity care, women's health, ENT exams, and a procedure room that is also equipped with lifesaving resuscitation gear. As part of our commitment to providing you the latest evidence-based care, most of our doctors and nurses are certified ACLS providers following current American Heart Association 2005 ECC guidelines.
The Clinic offers cutting edge imaging services using a top-of-the-line GE Revolution XR/d digital x-ray suite with a 2 detector configuration and the best-in-class GE Senographe 2000D digital mammography suite. Digital technology has become the new standard for radiology and provides the sharpest possible images while minimizing the amount of radiation needed. Ultrasound scans are also performed in the Clinic using a Philips HDI color Doppler unit.
Additional in-house services include an advanced laboratory that processes most standard tests and a fully-stocked pharmacy where you can purchase medications prescribed by our doctors. All pharmacy items are sourced from large, reputable distributors in Shanghai and are often imported or joint-venture products.
Advanced imaging studies can be performed down the hall from our Clinic in the Shanghai East Hospital imaging department. Equipped with a brand-new Philips 3.0T MRI unit and a brand-new Philips 64-slice CT, the best MRI and CT units presently available, extremely detailed and accurate scans can be performed more comfortably and in significantly less time than older models.
