Had Too Much to Drink???
"Eat not to dullness, drink not to elevation" ---- Ben Franklin
With all the constant festivities and goings-on in Shanghai, it's hard to live in moderation. The next time you're out on the town, though, just keep a few sobering facts in mind:

Drinking too much alcohol can cause dependency, damage internal organs and impair mental health.

Heavy drinkers may not feel intoxicated because of a higher tolerance to alcohol. If a person has developed higher tolerance to alcohol, they can no longer trust their body's signals telling them when they have been drinking too much.

Many experts recommend that most people should have no more than two to three (alcoholic) drinks on any given day, with at least two drink-free days a week. |
