Donation for Sichuan Earthquake

As with everyone around the world, SEIMC was deeply saddened by the news of the earthquake on the 12th May in Sichuan Province. Donation boxes have been placed at the reception desks and already there have been many employees, patients, and of course SEIMC, who have generously contributed. All proceeds are being sent to the Red Cross in China which will go directly to aid the people in Sichuan.

CereCare Wellness Center for Children

Shanghai East International Medical Center recognizes and applauds the committed efforts of sisters Ms. Sung Ling Lieu and Ms. Iris Sung Mai Lieu, and their dedicated team at the CereCare Wellness Center in Xuhui District. Our medical center provides a continuing supply of imported multi-vitamin supplements to each child.

CereCare provides innovative healing and education to help children with cerebral palsy attain independence and realize their full potential. In China , there are few provisions for handicapped children in schools or in public areas. Therefore, the ability of children with cerebral palsy to navigate, function independently, and get an education is minimal. Facilities such as CereCare provide a much needed service so these children can function on a daily basis, attend school and go on to lead meaningful lives.
