9 Tips for a Sound Sleep |

Plenty of fresh Oxygen is needed for a good sleep. So do not cover your face while asleep.

Do not take big meals three hours before your bedtime, as your body needs to be relaxed for a good sleep. Big meals before bedtime can also make you gain weight fast and easily.

Sleep with your mouth close. Air should be warmed up and filtered through nostrils before entering the lungs. Therefore sleep with your mouth close to keep harmful bacteria from entering your lunges without being properly filtered.

Try to be light-hearted before bedtime. 80% of insomnia is due to a "mental" imbalance. Violent TV, stimulating books, a lot of talking or discussions could lead to bad sleeps.

Turn off the light. According to traditional Chinese Medicine, sleep is the process of a Yin and Yang exchange. Synchronize your body with the universe and go to sleep at sunset and wake up at sunrise.

Try not to sleep on your back. Your hands on your chest and abdomen can press on your heart and lungs, causing uneasy breathing.

Never sleep toward direct wind exposure. When you are asleep, the immune system is relatively weaker and less resistant to colds and flu.

Try to "clear up" your body before bedtime and do not let urination or bowel movement spoil your sleep.

Avoid an irregular sleep time. Most people need 7 to 8 hours of sleep every day.
