Dr. Desheng WU is a professor of orthopedic surgery at Tongji University School of Medicine. After graduation and completion of his residency in orthopedic surgery, he had his fellowship in spinal surgery at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Twin Cities Spine Center in US. Dr. Wu specializes in the field of orthopedic spine surgery focusing on disorders of the cervical spine. He has an interest in innovative surgical techniques and image-guided technologies in the management of spinal disorders. His special expertise include: Cervical/Lumbar Deformity, Cervical Spondylosis, Lumbar Stenosis, Lumbar Disc Herniation, Spinal Tumor, Spinal Scoliosis, Spinal Infectious Disease. The procedures he is keen on are: Anterior Cervical Decompression and Fusion, Laminoplasty, Posterior Cervical Laminectomy and Fusion, Posterior Cervical Laminoforaminotomy, Posterior Lumbar decompression, Lumbar Microdiscectomy, Posterior Laminectomy and Fusion, Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion, Spinal Deformity Correction

Dr. Wu serves on the boards of several scholarly committees such as being the Deputy Head of Orthopedic Branch subgroups, Shanghai Medical Association; Board Member of Orthopedics Branch, Chinese Medical Association; Chairman of Spine Surgery Committee of Pudong New Area Medical Association, etc. He has also presented his research both nationally and internationally.

His research on the biomechanical evaluation of knee joint reconstruction has honored him scientific research funds from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Science and Technology, and Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau. He has published academic papers in core medical journals, articles in SCI magazine, and participated in writing and editing of medical monographs.

Dr.Liangyu Lu (China)
Orthopedist

Dr. Lu received his medical degree in General Surgery Department of Tongji University School of Medicine.

His specialties include surgeries such as cruciate ligament reconstruction; repair and treatment of meniscus and articular cartilage injury, habitual dislocation of shoulder joint, rotator cuff injury, and back and leg pain.

His research on the biomechanical evaluation of knee joint reconstruction has honored him scientific research funds from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Science and Technology, and Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau. He has published academic papers in core medical journals, articles in SCI magazine, and participated in writing and editing of medical monographs.

Dr.Feng Yin(China)
Orthopedist

Dr. Yin received his master's degree from Shanghai Medical University. He then further studied on artificial joint replacement in Germany, the USA, France and other places. Dr. Yin has been engaged in clinical and research work of Orthopedics and joint surgery.

He specializes in the treatment of aseptic necrosis of the femoral head, knee joint, osteoarthritis, intra-articular fracture and shoulder joint injury. He performs various surgeries that include total hip arthroplasty and revision; total knee arthroplasty and revision; single condyle arthroplasty; total shoulder and humeral head arthroplasty; artificial ankle arthroplasty; artificial elbow arthroplasty; complex tumor arthroplasty; shoulder, knee, ankle, elbow and hip arthroscopy; reconstruction and internal fixation of periarticular fracture; limb length Open reduction and internal fixation of bone fracture; fat stem cell treatment of knee osteoarthritis, etc.

Dr. Yin has published dozens of papers in domestic and international journals. SCI has published several of his papers, one of which appeared in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, JBJS, the most influential journal in bone science. He participated in the compilation, editing and publishing of many academic works, such as Orthopedic Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment Manual, Bone and Joint Injury, Difficult Orthopedics and Modern Orthopedic Surgery.

Dr. Yin presided over a number of scie=ntific research projects, such as Reconstruction Technology of Post Hip Arthroplasty Structure, and Personalized Design Research on Height and Retroversion Angle of Artificial Humeral Head Replacement Prosthesis, for which he was awarded respectively.

 
Dr.Guofeng Li (China)
Orthopedic Surgeon

After graduation from Shanghai Second Medical University, Dr Li further studied in the orthopedic hospitals such as Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, Diakonie Orthopedics Germany, and others in USA. Dr. Li has over 20 years of experience in orthopedics, and has earned good fame in the orthopedic medical field.

His skills include surgical treatment of severe multiple injuries and multiple fractures, various kinds of internal and external fractures; treatment and replacement of degenerative joints, and replacement with artificial joints. He is also specialized in limb fractures and ligament laceration treatment.

Dr. Li is a member of medical profession associations, and participated in Davos Trauma Symposium. He has been a specialist for SEIMC for over 10 years and enjoys good reputation among his patients.

Dr. Li speaks Mandarin, English and Japanese.

 
Dr.Wei Wu(China)
Orthopedist

Dr. Wu graduated from Shanghai Medical University, currently known as Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University. He has engaged in advanced studies of joint surgery at Krankenhaus Hellersdorf Hospital and Bundeswehrankenhaus Hospital in Berlin, Germany. Dr. Wu has obtained the advanced qualification certificate of AO Seminar with Workshop on Advances in Fracture Management of the United States; and was also part of the Chinese Medical Team who assisted the Moroccan Province of Taza.

Dr. Wu is mainly engaged in the fields and research of minimally invasive surgery for fractures such as that of the limbs, intra-articular, Traumatic Avascular Necrosis of the Femoral Head; treatment of delayed and nonunion, especially of complex and old fractures. He is knowledgeable with regards the latest development of fracture management and provides his patients with reasonable and effective treatment.

Dr. Wu specializes in open reduction and internal fixation of the extremities’ diaphyseal fractures; reduction and fixation of complex intra-articular fractures; total hip and knee arthroplasty; total hip revision; surgical treatment of delayed and nonunion fractures; minimally invasive surgery, treatment, and rehabilitation of old fractures; and so on.
