Shanghai Expat Show
September 2007
Finally the announced Expat Show took place at the Shanghai Exhibition Center on the third weekend in September. Shanghai East International Medical Center was there, on the first floor at booth 32B.
Our booth was represented by many of the different professionals from the medical center team. This gave visitors visitors a chance to talk with SEIMC staff from Paul Workman (CEO), doctors, marketing, administration, nurses and receptionist. We all enjoyed ourselves by meeting old friends, introducing ourselves to visitors and giving out information about our word-class hospital.
Awards for Nursing Quality and Infection Control
February 2007

We congratulate all our staff on this achievement and thank everyone for their hard work and support!
First ACLS Course in China organized by SEIMC
December 2006
In December, Shanghai East International Medical Center organized the first officially accredited American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification course in China, in conjunction with the Ministry of Health in Beijing and certified trainers from Hong Kong.
Physicians and nurses from SEIMC, other international clinics, and universities in Shanghai, attended the oversubscribed course to learn the latest world-standard, evidence-based resuscitation techniques according to the newest 2005 ECC guidelines. In addition, many frontline staff also attended Basic Life Support (BLS) training, which is a prerequisite to the advanced course. Graduates of the course are now better prepared to deal with life-threatening situations which also improves the overall standard of care available to patients at SEIMC.
Dr. J.H. Grey, Medical Director and Acting CEO quotes, "In my estimation, both courses were extremely well presented and will add in high measure to the very professional approach of SEIMC towards cardiovascular resuscitation."
